Edit Instagram Reels that make sense with the sound off

Scroll through Instagram in a waiting room or on a train and you will see it: plenty of people watch with the sound off. If your Reel is you talking, captions are how those viewers get the point.

• Resize to 9:16 in PopScript and keep your face in the upper-middle of the frame.
• Position captions above the lower part of the screen, where Instagram puts its own text.
• Keep text overlays away from the right edge, where the like and share buttons sit.
• Preview the export on your phone before posting. That is how your audience will see it.
